JANUARY 2009 Geordie Boy joins trm team Geordie lad, Dave Barrass, has just joined the sales team at TRM Packaging and he can’t wait to get stuck in! Having now completed his week’s induction, learning all about the intricacies of this independent, innovative and creative corrugated company, Dave is looking forward to promoting TRM Packaging throughout the north east. He will continue the job his predecessor began in looking after existing customers’ requirements and generating new business along the way. Dave is very enthusiastic about belonging to the TRM team and all it stands for and instantly acknowledges the outstanding growth potential the company currently displays. Simply put, he likes the way they operate and what they offer to customers. “TRM is focused on contributing to the success of it’s clients, who are at the heart of every decision, says Barrass, and working with our customers is the most successful approach to business.” Starting out his working life as an apprentice draughtsman, Dave progressed into Sales in both flexible and corrugated packaging. Dave’s selling skills, strong belief in TRM’s cutting-edge, cost-effective products and nearly twenty years of experience in the industry are likely to prove a great asset to the team. Born and raised in Whitley Bay, Newcastle, Dave’s Geordie roots are something of which he is very proud. He still lives nearby on the coast at Whitley Bay and is a big fan of Newcastle United. His great passion, though, is music, especially the ‘oldies’ and he likes nothing better than listening to the classics of the past.
