speedy software halves response time

Ever wondered what happens to your query when you ring a company’s customer services department? More often than not it gets buried under a mountain of paperwork… but that’s not the case at TRM.

TRM is the first company in the world to pilot a new workflow management system called WEBcnx. The system, which is written by UK-based Arden Software, significantly reduces the time it takes for your queries, problems and quotes to be processed.

Better still, because it’s web-based, every member of staff at TRM – from the sales team right through to designers, artwork and lab technicians – have access to your data, whether they are in or out of the office.

“There’ll be no waiting around while we try to find your records or someone to answer a question,” says TRM’s senior designer Robert Chapman. “At the push of a button all your details and history are accessible on screen – immediately.”

The system also radically improves the accuracy of the information stored. “Because we no longer have to decipher handwritten notes there’s less chance of a mix up,” says Robert. “Plus, tracking your request becomes much easier. Anyone in the business can see what stage any particular task is up to – they don’t need to phone anyone or wait for a reply to an email.”

And, because TRM is the first company to pilot WEBcnx, we have had the unique opportunity to influence its development to ensure it meets the needs of suppliers and customers alike.

TRM staff has spent six months being trained to use the new system and it’s hoped WEBcnx will be implemented across our entire operation by the end of the year.
